Kim Yeong-hui turns a worried DM to Min Do-yoon into an OTT hit
On MBC's Radio Star, Kim Yeong-hui explains how her Min Do-yoon fandom led to Parasite Choon, OTT top-three success and a winter shoot.

Comedian Kim Yeong-hui is continuing her unconventional journey as an adult film director. Appearing on the July 8 broadcast of MBC's 'Radio Star' (Episode 971), titled the 'Laughter Creator Crew, Ut-Keu-Keu' special, Kim Yeong-hui personally revealed how she came to be called the "Bong Joon-ho of the underground."
The true turning point was her fan devotion toward actor Min Do-yoon. Highly praising Min Do-yoon's acting skills, Kim Yeong-hui confessed that she sent a message to his SNS saying, "I am a fan of yours, but it's a shame there are no new works. Are you feeling unwell?"
This DM served as the catalyst for their connection. When Kim Yeong-hui proposed that he help her realize her adult film fantasies, Min Do-yoon agreed, resulting in her directorial debut.
From 'Parasite Choon' to reaching No. 3 on OTT
Kim Yeong-hui has already achieved visible results as a director. Her first project with Min Do-yoon was 'Parasite Choon,' a parody of the film 'Parasite.' At the time, Kim Yeong-hui specifically selected Min Do-yoon to appear as her partner for her debut work.
Subsequently, her third project, 'Mureuppak Bosal,' entered the upper ranks of OTT platforms by combining shamanism with eroticism. Kim Yeong-hui directly stated that the work maintained significant public popularity, staying within the top 3 on OTT for an extended period.
Planning next project scheduled for winter filming
Plans for her next project are also taking shape. Kim Yeong-hui shared that she has recently been receiving directing offers from various places and already has a script in mind. She expressed her ambition to attempt a story dealing with erotic situations occurring on the set of an adult film. Production is currently discussed to begin filming around this coming winter.
