Broadcaster Kim Dae-ho's visit to actress Kyung Soo-jin's real second home in Boryeong, Chungcheongnam-do will be revealed on MBC's housing variety program Where Is My Home. In the episode airing Thursday, July 9 at 10 p.m., the program follows a second-house property visit in Yeongwol, Gangwon-do, while also capturing the easy chemistry between Kim and Kyung, who have built a friendship through several programs.

Kim Dae-ho and Kyeong Su-jin appear on MBC 'Get It! Holmes'

Kim Dae-ho previously appeared on MBC's talk show Radio Star last month and spoke about Kyung Soo-jin, who is three years younger than him, saying, "I am interested in her romantically. I worry that it could cause trouble for her because she is an actress." During this latest property visit, Kim shows a side that suggests he "knows Soojin well," readily recognizing Kyung's personality and tastes. Watching this, Yang Se-hyung sends him a suspicious look, drawing laughter. The two are shown working together so naturally that their rapport calls to mind a married couple.

The Newlyweds' Second House Built on Landlocked Land in Yeongwol

The main setting of the episode is Yeongwol, Gangwon-do. Yeongwol is introduced as a historic location associated with the ten-million-viewer film The Man Who Lives With the King and as a place that reflects the final days of King Danjong. The program also notes that Yeongwol has been designated as a special second-home area, where people who meet certain requirements may receive single-home tax benefits.

The first house visited by the cast is the home of a newlywed couple who chose a second house instead of traditional wedding gifts and bridal presents. The site was landlocked and difficult to build on because it was surrounded on all sides by streams, but the couple developed the land themselves and completed the project by even building a bridge through a donation-based public handover process. The house is currently also operated as a guesthouse.

At the scene, the cast tastes blueberries harvested from the vegetable garden in the front yard and spends time under a parasol listening to the sound of the wind and birds. Yang Se-hyung, who dreams of having a second house, Kim Dae-ho, who uses an annex next to his main home as a second house, and Kyung Soo-jin, who enjoys second-house life in Boryeong, each share their own experiences and expectations.

Kim Sook Says, "It Is Better to Start While You Still Have the Stamina"

Before the property tour, the episode also shares real experiences from cast members who already have second houses. Kim Sook describes the social and emotional appeal of a second house, saying, "You end up visiting at least once a month, and at some point it also becomes a place for gatherings." Jang Dong-min also expresses satisfaction, saying that his children really like their second house.

By contrast, when Yang Se-chan, who describes himself as firmly city-oriented, says, "I think I will get a second house after I turn 60," Kim Sook offers practical advice: "Once you actually go there, there is really a lot you have to do. It is better to start while you still have the stamina." The Yeongwol property visit airs July 9 at 10 p.m. on MBC's Where Is My Home.
