Jang Dong-min Wins MBC's 'Best Bandit' After Pleading to Avoid Han River Mission

Jang Dong-min became the final winner, the 'Best Bandit,' in the 7th episode of the MBC variety show 'Best Mountain.' It added to the laughter as he earned the title after kneeling and shouting, "I'll go to the Himalayas! Please, anything but Han River!" to avoid the Han River mission.

The 7th episode of 'Best Mountain,' broadcast on the 5th, was themed around 'Best Bandit.' Entertainers including Yoo Se-yoon, Jang Dong-min, Heo Kyung-hwan, Boom, and Yang Se-hyung transformed into bandits, and the atmosphere shifted instantly when it was announced that their next destination was the crowded Han River.

Jang Dong-min, known for not typically enjoying hiking, knelt on the floor as soon as the mission details were announced. Other members also pleaded with the production team to avoid the hike, but the mission proceeded as planned.

Arriving at Mangwon Hangang Park via hitchhiking, the members rewarded citizens with impromptu performances and individual talents instead of taking their belongings. Their behavior, the complete opposite of the bandit concept, brought laughter to the citizens on site.

Bandits Changing Behavior in Front of CP Park Chang-hoon

The bandits' journey began inside the broadcasting station. Heo Kyung-hwan headed to the information desk, shouting, "Hand over your passes!" to immerse himself in the bandit role, but he soon appeared intimidated as he faced reality.

The atmosphere changed significantly when they encountered CP Park Chang-hoon from 'Hangout with Yoo' and 'Where Is My Home.' Upon Park Chang-hoon's appearance, Jang Dong-min, Heo Kyung-hwan, and Yang Se-hyung immediately changed their attitude; Yang Se-hyung offered corn snacks, while Jang Dong-min played it safe by showering him with continuous praise.

The members roamed various parts of the station, including offices, to carry out looting missions and met fellow celebrities. Their sly acting throughout this process added to the fun of the 'Best Bandit' competition.

The bandits' journey concluded at the house of actress Sunwoo Yong-yeo. Having received the authority to distribute stickers from Jo Hye-ryun, Sunwoo Yong-yeo acted as a judge, watching the bandits' flattery and comedy.

The person who earned the most praise stickers was Jang Dong-min. By receiving Sunwoo Yong-yeo's choice, Jang Dong-min grabbed the title of the final winner of this episode, the 'Best Bandit.'
