The cast of Disney+ original series Love War came into conflict over religious views. In a preview video for Episode 7, the tension began after one cast member delivered a message rooted in Christian faith and the other responded with a mocking attitude.

As that attitude continued, one cast member compared the mood on set to deliberate provocation, saying, "This is almost backscratcher-level needling." The remark captured how sharply the conversation had begun to turn, with irritation building as the exchange moved beyond a simple difference of opinion.

The cast member who identified as Christian asked for respect, saying they felt very offended because Christianity was being discussed in an unfavorable way. The other person, however, maintained an attitude suggesting that the situation had happened simply because someone had prayed, and the disagreement deepened from there.

"You Go to Heaven and I Go to Hell?" The Argument Intensifies

The dispute then shifted to the subject of heaven and hell. When the cast member with religious faith expressed their beliefs, the other person pushed back by questioning the logic behind them, saying, "By that logic, I am going to hell," and, "You go to heaven and I go to hell?"

The conversation grew more heated as childhood memories and present-day values collided. One side spoke from the experience of having grown up hearing, "If you do not go to church, you go to hell," while the current exchange forced those past words into direct conflict with the way each person now viewed faith, judgment and respect.

The emotional tension continued when the cast member with faith asked in return, "Do you want me to go to hell?" Although the other person tried to end the conversation by saying, "No, no," the lingering weight of the conflict remained even after the exchange was brought to a close.

"Either Respect Each Other or Do Not Interfere"

After the clash, the cast members arrived at a conclusion about religious differences. One cast member appealed for a more respectful approach, saying that every person has their own religion and beliefs, and that it is wrong to declare one belief the correct answer and then call someone else strange for thinking differently.

The cast member then added that the answer would likely be the same when it comes to religion: people should either respect one another or avoid interfering in each other's beliefs. The statement framed the conflict as a matter of recognizing differences rather than forcing agreement.
