Na Yeong-seok, Kim Dae-myung, and Choi Jae-young's dinner at Yeongdong Market: "Projects done with too much hardship don't work out well"

Producer Na Yeong-seok and cast members Kim Dae-myung and Choi Jae-young held a dinner at Yeongdong Market in Seoul to celebrate the conclusion of their projects.

According to a video released on the Channel Fullmoon YouTube channel, Na Yeong-seok, Kim Dae-myung, and Choi Jae-young gathered near Yeongdong Market as three recently ongoing plans were finalized. Amidst the sweltering weather with temperatures reaching 36 degrees Celsius, they began their dinner at a restaurant with outdoor tables. Although they originally planned to enjoy an outdoor setting after the rainy season ended, the heatwave led to continuous deliberations over menu and venue selection.

While continuing the dinner with gochujang bulgogi as a snack, PD Na Yeong-seok shared his personal views regarding projects and hardship. Na Yeong-seok mentioned, "Projects done with too much hardship don't work out well," explaining that "when there are people who put a brake on a project during its progress, it is either a revelation from God or a revelation from colleagues." Regarding situations where a project does not proceed smoothly and repeated hardships occur, he gave it meaning by saying, "It is not some kind of hardship or a bad thing, but rather something happening so that it can succeed." He added that planning is a process of contemplating what kind of story to tell an unspecified large audience so that people will like it.

Furthermore, Na Yeong-seok cited 'intense work' as the most important condition for what he considers the most delicious drinking session. He said, "After intense work is finished, the time that work ends must be between 10 PM and 11 PM, and a partner to drink with must be present nearby." He mentioned a glass of beer drunk at the accommodation after finishing the first day of filming for 2 Days and 1 Night as his most enjoyable recent dinner gathering.

The second round continued in the alleys of Yeongdong Market, a conversation at a bar

After finishing their meal, the group moved to a bar called 'Yeongdong Gabang' located within Yeongdong Market. This establishment is a shop with a concept of purchasing all ingredients within the market to coexist with market merchants. The cast members continued their conversation here while enjoying cocktails and soy milk. This establishment is connected to 'Jangsaeng Geongangwon' within the market; the first branch operates with a health center concept, while the second branch, Yeongdong Gabang, has a different concept, such as providing cocktails focused on coffee and tea bases.

Kim Dae-myung described the place as "a place where you want to have one or two more drinks when you are full, or a place that fills the gap between the first and third rounds," and mentioned that it is emotionally good because the distance to the bartender is close. Following this, through a conversation with the owner of the establishment, they shared stories about the menu composition and operating methods using market ingredients. The establishment stated that they use all ingredients purchased within the market, including the summer seasonal menu 'Shimei'.

The gathering concluded after enjoying the atmosphere of the Yeongdong Market alleys following the completion of filming. The cast members continued the lingering feeling of the gathering by mentioning a billiard hall or other locations as their next destination.
