Jung Il-woo shares thoughts on his first-ever fan meeting in China: "First in 20 years of activity... happy thanks to fans"

Actor Jung Il-woo expressed his gratitude to fans through a video recording his special time in Shanghai, China.

Jung Il-woo recently posted a video on his official YouTube channel capturing his schedule in Shanghai. In the video, Jung Il-woo shares the lingering emotions of the Shanghai fan meeting while checking out the gifts sent by fans.

"First China fan meeting in 20 years of activity"... Expressing gratitude with fans' gifts

At the beginning of the video, Jung Il-woo had an 'unboxing' session where he personally checked various gifts sent by fans. He expressed his thanks while looking at drawings of him and ceramic sets gifted by fans. In particular, mentioning the ceramic and tea sets gifted by fans, he stated his intention to brew and drink the tea sent by them right there. Among the items gifted by fans, there were also witty gifts such as a bottle opener that seemed to shape his face.

Jung Il-woo personally mentioned the significance of this schedule. In the video, he said, "While being active for 20 years, this is my first birthday fan meeting in China." He continued, "Chinese fans have waited for a long time, and I also had such a happy time," expressing his sincere thanks to the fans who traveled from afar. He also added the wish, "I hope there will be occasions where we can meet frequently again."

Experiencing Shanghai streets and food... A journey capturing the local atmosphere

After finishing the fan meeting, Jung Il-woo also showed himself enjoying the local atmosphere of Shanghai. Walking around the Beigang Road area in Shanghai, Jung Il-woo conveyed the feeling of the local streets, saying, "The streets are pretty. If you search for Wunara, it feels a bit like Garosu-gil, and also a bit like Samcheong-dong." He introduced the style he prepared to walk the local streets, describing his fashion for the day as 'kku-an-kku' (effortless chic).

Scenes of tasting local food were also included. Jung Il-woo enjoyed the taste of local cuisine, such as Mala dishes. Regarding the weather in Shanghai, he mentioned the pleasant weather there, saying, "It is extremely humid in the summer, but today it is neither hot nor cold, and the weather is so good." Jung Il-woo recorded his time there, recalling his visit during APEC about two months ago.
