ILLIT's YUNAH Challenges Driving in Seoul... "As a beginner driver, I'll need a passenger for a year"

YUNAH, a member of the group ILLIT, shared her experience as a novice driver while challenging herself to drive through downtown Seoul.

According to the 'Super ILLIT' Filming D-7 video released on September 22, 2026, on ILLIT's official YouTube channel, YUNAH was shown driving an electric vehicle through downtown Seoul. The video captures the process of driving a vehicle borrowed from the production team ahead of the filming for upcoming 'Super ILLIT' content.

Experiencing Electric Vehicle Features and the Difficulty of Driving in Seoul

In the video, YUNAH began driving while experiencing various features of the new car. YUNAH showed her reaction to the new vehicle while checking the convenience features of the electric car, such as the automatic parking brake and HUD (Head-Up Display). During the parking process, she revealed her side as a novice driver, such as being surprised by the vehicle's movement or adjusting the mirror positions.

Regarding driving in downtown Seoul, she expressed psychological pressure. In the video, YUNAH conveyed the difficulty of urban driving, mentioning, "Driving in Seoul is not easy" and "I'm scared to death." In particular, during the lane change process, she lamented the difficulty of maintaining and changing lanes, saying, "Suddenly, the 3rd lane I was in becomes this lane, and it was hard because it's supposed to be that way originally."

Utilizing Autonomous Driving Assistance Features and Reflections on Driving

During the drive, YUNAH mentioned the vehicle's driving assistance features. Combining the subtitles and speech in the video, YUNAH explained the feature that keeps the vehicle in its lane, saying, "It's not me driving, it's this thing driving," and "I just rest my hands on the steering wheel and it follows on its own," conveying how lane maintenance became easier through accelerator control.

While quoting those around her who evaluated her "ability to communicate with the vehicle is top-tier," YUNAH revealed a realistic driving plan regarding her own driving proficiency. YUNAH expressed a cautious stance as a novice driver, stating, "For the next year, I think I'll have to keep driving with people who can continue to drive like this."

Finally, YUNAH shared her thoughts on finishing her drive in Seoul despite being a beginner driver, saying, "It is so moving just to be driving like this in Seoul." She also expressed her gratitude to the production team for lending her the vehicle and teased that in the next content, she will film while carrying the members until "the day I am reborn as a best driver."
