Rookie group U(OURBIRTHDAY) has documented their journey toward debut, spanning from the audition process to music show stages. The core of their journey lies in how they reinterpreted songs from various generations into their own performances before presenting the team's first result with their debut song 'HUNGRY (Side B)'.

Era-spanning covers from Hye Eun Yi to Rain

Starting with Hye Eun Yi's 'Dawn Air,' U(OURBIRTHDAY) showcased songs from different eras and genres, including Roo'ra's '3!4!', Crush's 'Rush Hour', and Rain's 'It's Raining'. Kim Wan-sun's 'Pierrot is a Sad Face' was also included in their performance list.

Rather than simply singing the original songs, the focus was on interpreting the atmosphere of each track in the team's own style. The 'NINE' stage, centered on dance performance, as well as 'MAD' and 'Dream High' presented during the TOP 5 and TOP 8 stages, remain as moments that demonstrated their teamwork and energy control.

Stages leading to debut song 'HUNGRY (Side B)'

The flow of tension during the audition stages and the competition through the upper rounds led directly to the stage for their debut song 'HUNGRY (Side B)'. Through this song, U(OURBIRTHDAY) presented their first impression as a completed team.

The process of moving from auditions to standing on music show stages like Music Bank shows what kind of songs a rookie group learns and how they build their team color before debut. By leaving behind both their cover stages and their debut song, U(OURBIRTHDAY) has signaled the starting line of their full-scale activities.
