TWS dance through beachside summer as SODA SODA heads to Japan

TWS will release their second Japanese single on August 4, 2026. The title track is "SODA SODA," with the audio and full music video set to drop on August 3. The released music video teaser features scenes of a beach, a convenience store, carefree dancing, and members leaning on each other. The title "SODA SODA" combines the word for carbonated drink with the Japanese word "souda" (そうだ), which carries a positive connotation, emphasizing the energetic mood of summer and bright moments of youth.

Kyungmin, Youngjae, and Ji-hoon Participate in Composition

The title track features composition by Kyungmin, Youngjae, and Ji-hoon. Built on a modern city-pop foundation, the song incorporates groovy bass and analog synthesizer sounds, focusing on a refreshing energy. The lyrics center on the image of excitement bursting like carbonation. The short, strong rhythm matches the sensation of carbonation bursting, and the repeated title enhances the rising emotional intensity of summer.

'Palm Tree' and Japanese Versions Included

The second Japanese single includes the title track "SODA SODA" as well as "Palm Tree" and the Japanese version of "내가 S면 넌 나의 N이 되어줘." This continues the summer theme from their previously released "SUMMER BEAT!" and maintains TWS's established refreshing image in their Japanese single.

Second Teaser on 31st, Full Release on August 3

Prior to release, the chart performance of "SODA SODA" and fan or critical reactions have not yet been confirmed. TWS will release the second music video teaser on the 31st, followed by the audio and full music video on August 3, and officially release the single on August 4.
