OURBIRTHDAY, Pre-Debut First Stage

On July 25, 2024, OURBIRTHDAY performed their digital single 'HUNGRY (Side A)' on MBC's 'Show! MusicCore,' marking their first stage in a pre-debut music show appearance. This was the first music show appearance for members Cho Hye-jin, Baby, and Achiraya since beginning their activities, and it represented the first step in the group's official music activities before their official debut.

Animation Episode 2 Released, 7-Member Team Complete

On the same day, the second episode of the animation 'WHIP! OURBIRTHDAY!,' titled 'Splendid Counterattack,' was released on the official SNS channels. In addition to the existing characters Cherrysha, Grublu, and Aiyat, four new characters—Kiracl, Kapusia, Tirimiko, and Hapumi—appeared, completing the 7-member character team. These characters join the story of fighting against the villain Mumi to protect the city. At the end of the video, Mumi reveals new movements, leaving tension for future developments.

Character Concepts and Keywords Revealed

Kapusia is a character with a cheese concept, Hapumi is based on strawberry cake, Tirimiko on tiramisu, and Kiracl on cookies-and-cream. Each character is accompanied by a sweetness and energy index, along with keywords such as crunchy, soft, and mild, which provide clues about their personalities and atmospheres. Character visuals were also introduced through separate moving posters.
