Kim Min-seok Releases AGAMI's Second Single 'lovebug' as Band Vocalist

Actor Kim Min-seok is continuing his musical activities by releasing the second single 'lovebug' as the vocalist of the band AGAMI. Having become familiar to audiences through dramas and movies, he now stands before fans as the voice of the band.

Kim Min-seok recently revealed footage of himself standing before a microphone in a soundproof recording studio. Wearing a black T-shirt and headphones while singing, he displayed a seriousness that differed from the faces he showed in his dramas and movies.

Second Single 'lovebug' Announced via SNS

Kim Min-seok personally shared the news of the new release on his SNS, stating, “Even knowing the end, I still want you again. AGAMI's second single 'lovebug' has been released. You can listen to it on all music sites.” Along with the song title, he provided specific guidance on how fans could listen to the music.

AGAMI is a band formed by actors coming together with shared passion. Kim Min-seok takes on the vocals, Lee David handles guitar and keyboards, Kang Seung-ho is on drums, and Nam Min-woo is in charge of guitar and vocals. The team name 'AGAMI' carries the hope that listeners can breathe together through the music.

Regarding the team name, Kim Min-seok previously explained, “I hope our stage becomes an 'AGAMI' that listeners can breathe with.” After practicing in an underground studio for about 3 months following their formation, they made their debut by presenting their first stage through a broadcast.

'Doctors' Baeksang Newcomer Award and 'Typhoon Company' OST

While pursuing musical activities, Kim Min-seok first proved his presence in the acting field. He debuted as Seo Kyung-jong in the tvN drama 'Shut Up Flower Boy Band' and made his face known to the public as Kim Ki-bum in the drama 'Descendants of the Sun.' For the SBS drama 'Doctors,' he received the New Actor Award in the TV category at the 53rd Baeksang Arts Awards in 2017.

Afterward, he took on various characters in the dramas 'Defendant' and 'Age of Youth 2,' and in 'Because This Is My First Life,' he portrayed a realistic romance as Shim Won-seok. In 'The Beauty Inside,' he left a lingering atmosphere playing the role of a high school boy, one of the transformations of the protagonist Han Sae-gye.

His activities in variety and music programs also continued. In Infinite's reality show 'This Is Infinite' and 'Celebrity Bromance,' he showed his friendship with member L, and from 2016 to early 2017, he led the stage as an MC for the music program 'Inkigayo' alongside Gong Seung-yeon and Jeongyeon. He personally sang the 'Typhoon Company' OST 'Wolf Star,' and recently, he is active as a fixed MC for the variety program 'Empty House 3 - Suri Suri Village Suri.'
