Two Geniuses with Divergent Gazes Sitting Side-by-Side at a Single Piano

Ahead of its premiere on August 29, the new tvN weekend drama 'Four Hands' has revealed the relationships between its characters through a teaser video. Set in an arts high school, the series captures the friendship, love, and fierce competition among youths with musical talent. The recently released keyboard teaser foreshadows a subtle confrontation between the two protagonists.

Song Kang and Lee Jun-young to Showcase Beautiful Youthful Harmony in tvN Drama 'Four Hands'

In the video, Song Kang appears as Kang Bi-oh, a genius pianist who has followed a traditional elite path, while Lee Jun-young portrays Choi Jeong-yo, who started playing the piano late after facing difficult circumstances. The two sit side-by-side at a single piano, continuing their 'four hands' (duet) practice. While they initially seem to connect, handling the piece with light breathing and synchronization, the atmosphere shifts abruptly the moment the music changes to Saint-Saëns' 'Danse Macabre.' Unlike Choi Jeong-yo, who is immersed in the performance, Kang Bi-oh stares at him with a complex gaze, creating a sense of tension. In the following stage scene, the two face each other with hardened expressions that contrast sharply with their previous harmonious demeanor, signaling the beginning of their conflict.

Added Weight to the Drama with the Addition of Yoo Tae-Joo

Actor Yoo Tae-Joo joins the confrontation between Song Kang and Lee Jun-young, increasing the density of the drama. Having recently made an impression through 'Teach You a Lesson,' Yoo Tae-Joo will showcase a new side as a character who shakes up the flow of the story.

Management Inn, Yoo Tae-Joo's agency, stated, "He shows growth with every project," adding, "In this work, you will be able to see an even more mature performance." Yoo Tae-Joo also shared his thoughts, saying, "It is meaningful to meet viewers again. I am learning a lot while working alongside my seniors and colleagues."
