Actor Nam Joo Hyuk and Lee E-dam will reunite in the Disney+ original series 'Code.' This mystery crime thriller depicts the story of a lawyer who navigates the lines between legality and illegality after receiving an invitation to 'Code,' a mysterious app that grants wishes.

Nam Joo Hyuk plays Yoon Tae-ju, a lawyer who will use any means necessary to achieve success. A former prosecution investigator, Yoon Tae-ju aims for a partner position at a major law firm but receives an invitation from 'Code,' subsequently becoming swept into a whirlwind of desire and incidents.
Lee E-dam takes on the role of Park Ji-dam, a prosecutor at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office who tracks the truth behind the incidents connected to 'Code.' Park Ji-dam is a character with a past connection to Yoon Tae-ju, constantly remaining wary of him and establishing a tense confrontation. She is expected to be portrayed as a character with cold judgment and tenacity.

The supporting lineup is equally solid. Kim Eui-sung will play Cho Chul-ho, a hacker from a North Korean defector background who forms an unexpected alliance with Yoon Tae-ju. Park Hoon will add tension to the drama as Lim Chang-jae, a violent crimes team detective who is as close to Yoon Tae-ju as a brother. The central narrative follows four individuals with different motives as they track 'Code.'
Director Yu Su-min, who earned recognition for directing the 'Weak Hero' series, takes the helm for this project. The screenplay features writers Yang Hyun-ah, Kim Gun-woo, and Kim Hyung-jun, with production handled by SLL and Y-Works Entertainment. The core premise of the drama is that one must pay a price to get what they want.
'Netflix's Daughter' Lee E-dam's New Transformation
Lee E-dam has recently garnered attention by consecutively presenting 'The Art of Sarah' and 'Pavane: For A Dead Princess.' In particular, through 'The Art of Sarah,' she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards for her dense portrayal of character transformation. In her previous work 'The Queen Who Crowns,' she three-dimensionally expressed a character wavering between ambition and loyalty.
Having worked across various genres in works such as 'Can This Love Be Translated?', 'Artificial City,' and 'Pavane: For A Dead Princess,' Lee E-dam attempts another acting transformation through the character of prosecutor Park Ji-dam. The Disney+ original series 'Code' is scheduled to be released worldwide in 2027.
