"Actors must convey various stories"... Her concerns regarding standardized molds

Regarding external standards, Kim Min Ha confessed, "I grew up hearing so many things like 'you must look like this,' 'you must dress like this,' or 'your voice should be like this.'" She added, "An actor is someone who must convey many different stories, so it is ironic to be trapped in a standardized mold. I am always contemplating how I can break these prejudices more and make new attempts."

Choosing 'soft' as the keyword to describe herself, she meant that she is a person with the flexibility to recover in any situation. Conversely, she picked 'ppalli-ppalli' (hurry, hurry) as the word furthest from her, and answered that the value she most wants to preserve as an actor is "myself."

Lost 17kg over 2 years for the film 'Hana Korea'... Preparations for next project 'underway'

Kim Min Ha's recent change in appearance has drawn public attention. She lost weight over a period of two years for the film 'Hana Korea.' Compared to the time of filming, she has lost approximately 16–17kg.

Kim Min Ha revealed that 90% of this weight loss was due to her role. It was not merely about changing her appearance, but the result of contemplating how she could show a different side of herself. The diet is ongoing. She explained that she is continuing her diet even now, as the character in her upcoming project—which is scheduled for filming after the already released works—also requires a weight loss setting.

"The 20s were a necessary time, the 30s are an interesting period even with the uncertainty"

She also shared her reflections on her life so far. Looking back at her 20s, Kim Min Ha recalled, "My 20s were a time when I had many experiences. I don't want to go back, but it was a time that was so, so necessary for me, so I have no regrets."

She showed a positive attitude toward her 30s. "I have a bit more courage now, and even the uncertain things like 'what will happen' are fun. I am satisfied because I feel more curiosity as well," she said.
