Yeonjun, a member of Tomorrow X Together (TXT), is set to take the stage for a massive outdoor concert in the heart of New York City, marking a first for a Korean solo artist.
Big Hit Music announced that Yeonjun has been included in the lineup for 'Z100’s Summer Bash Presented By Wells Fargo,' held at Hudson Yards in New York on August 6. Hosted by Z100, a radio station under iHeartMedia, Yeonjun will perform alongside pop star Charlie Puth and Bella Kay.
From Good Morning America to Major New York Radio Performances
Yeonjun's activities in the United States continue to gain momentum. Following his confirmed appearance in the 'Summer Concert Series' hosted by ABC's morning news program 'Good Morning America,' he is drawing significant attention from local media with this latest booking for a major New York radio performance.
Solo Power Proven by 2nd Mini Album 'Ice Cream'
These moves align with the success of his recent solo activities. After announcing his solo debut last November with the first mini album 'NO LABELS: PART 01,' Yeonjun has been showcasing his unique musical world through his recently released second mini album, 'NO LABELS: PART 02.'
This second mini album recorded over 660,000 sales on its release day alone, achieving the highest first-day sales for a Korean solo artist's album this year. The title track 'Ice Cream' entered the top 10 of the Bugs weekly chart (tracked from July 6 to July 12) and reached number 3 on Spotify's 'Viral Hits Korea' chart.
Currently, Yeonjun is communicating with fans by releasing four different remix versions of the title track—Earl Grey, Mango Chili, Espresso, and Cotton Candy—to convey the song's summer charms from various angles.
