EVAN, under HYBE Labels, has presented a documentary capturing the preparation process for his debut single. On the 18th, EVAN uploaded the 'EVAN Debut Documentary' via the official HYBE Labels YouTube channel.
The video contains the step-by-step process leading up to the completion of the digital single 'RIDE OR DIE'. It includes the entire production cycle, such as songwriting, recording, choreography practice, live performance preparation, and the music video filming set. EVAN participated directly in the production process to enhance the song's quality.
Title Track 'RIDE OR DIE' and B-side 'Overflow'
The title track 'RIDE OR DIE' was created during EVAN's first songwriting session for his solo debut. EVAN stated that he poured his energy and emotions into the track, aiming to deliver a message of hope and happy endings to listeners.
During the second songwriting session that followed, the B-side 'Overflow' was produced. EVAN continued working immediately on the same day the direction for the title track was finalized, completing the B-side. 'Overflow' carries a message of comfort for those going through difficult times.
Global Schedule Including KCON LA to Begin in August
EVAN will begin full-scale global activities starting in August. His overseas schedule has been confirmed, beginning with a performance at '2026 SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer' on August 9.
On the 14th, he will appear in the special program 'Spotlight' held at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles, USA. He is scheduled to take the stage at 'KCON LA 2026' on the 16th and will continue his global activities through '2026 TIMA' on the 23rd.
