EVAN's 'Ride or Die' Tops 10 Million Views in 44 Hours, Hits No. 1 in 9 Regions

EVAN, formerly of ENHYPEN, has established strong initial indicators with his solo debut song 'Ride or Die.' The digital single, released on June 22, received simultaneous reactions from domestic music charts and global platforms.

10 Million Music Video Views in 44 Hours

'Ride or Die' reached No. 1 on the Bugs real-time chart and No. 5 on Melon's 'Hot 100.' The title track's music video surpassed 10 million views on YouTube on the morning of June 25, approximately 44 hours after its release.

International indicators followed. The song recorded No. 1 on the iTunes 'Top Songs' charts in 9 countries and regions, including Singapore, the UK, Canada, and the US, and ranked 9th on the YouTube 'Global Daily Popular Music Video' chart.

Participation in Lyrics, Composition, and Producing

'Ride or Die' is an alternative rock genre song characterized by an intense rock sound. EVAN participated in the lyrics, composition, and overall producing of the title track and the B-side track 'Over Flow.'

After leaving the team last March and declaring his solo debut by changing his stage name, EVAN also took 1st place with 26.68% of the votes in the June 'IS Monthly Chart,' a collaboration between Fancast and Ilgan Sports. TREASURE recorded 16.56%, and Hearts2Hearts recorded 10.65%.

Solo Debut Concerns Revealed on 'The Seasons'

EVAN appeared on the July 3 broadcast of KBS2 'The Seasons-Sung Si-kyung's Music Boyfriend' and shared his concerns during the solo debut process. During the broadcast, he said, "I am worried about whether fans will like my music."

MC Sung Si-kyung encouraged EVAN, saying, "Think of it as the excitement before giving a gift." 10CM, Sunwoojunga, and Lee Seung-yoon also appeared on the broadcast to share their respective music working methods and recent news.

Starting with Mnet's 'M Countdown' on June 25, EVAN appeared on music shows such as MBC's 'Show! Music Core' and SBS's 'Inkigayo.' On June 26, he held the busking performance 'The Fillin' Live with EVAN' at the Mulbit Stage in Yeouido Hangang Park, Seoul, and took the stage for the '2026 Busan One Asia Festival' on the 28th. Since then, he has continued appearing on MBC FM4U's 'Kim Eana's Starry Night' and the YouTube web variety show 'Leemujin Service.'
