K-pop group ATEEZ has returned to the summit of the Billboard 200, Billboard's main albums chart in the United States. The achievement marks the group's third No. 1 on the chart, following its 2023 release 'The World Episode Final: Will' and its 2024 release 'Golden Hour: Part 2.'

ATEEZ departs Incheon International Airport for overseas concert schedule

The new chart-topper is ATEEZ's 14th mini album, 'Golden Hour: Part 5,' which was released on June 26. On the Billboard chart, the album took first place ahead of major releases including Olivia Rodrigo's 'You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love' and Drake's 'Iceman.'

The result matters beyond the overseas album chart because ATEEZ's international momentum is also being reflected in Korea's digital music market. As of 11 a.m. on July 7, ATEEZ's new song 'BAD' ranked No. 91 on Melon's Top 100 chart, the key ranking on Korea's largest domestic music platform.

Melon's Top 100 is widely regarded as a difficult chart to enter because rankings near the top tend to shift slowly. Since entering the chart, 'BAD' has continued to show a steady upward trend. The album has also set a new personal best for ATEEZ in physical sales: according to Hanteo Chart, 'Golden Hour: Part 5' sold 1.88 million copies in its first week alone.

While continuing that chart run, the members of ATEEZ headed overseas on the afternoon of July 7 for an international concert schedule, departing through Incheon International Airport. Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung, and Jongho appeared at the airport in Unseo-dong, Jung-gu, Incheon.

At the departure site, each member drew attention with individual charisma and a strong physical presence. From the cute appeal of youngest member Jongho to the visuals of Seonghwa and Mingi, the airport scene underscored ATEEZ's presence as the group moved into its overseas schedule.

Member San also communicated with fans through his personal channel by sharing photos taken abroad. In the images, San wore a fitted T-shirt that showed his tanned skin and solid arm muscles. Alongside the photos, he added the message, 'I tend to be careful even when choosing one thing.'

ATEEZ is currently continuing promotions for its new song 'BAD' while carrying out schedules that bring the group face to face with fans around the world.
