Lim Gyu-hyung and Na Hyun-woo, meeting as the role of 'Evan'

Actors Lim Gyu-hyung and Na Hyun-woo, both alumni of audition programs, have met as leads on the musical stage. The two actors appeared as guests on the recent visual radio program 'Lee Ho-kwang's Curtain Call' to share honest stories from behind the scenes.

Currently, the two are active as double cast members playing the protagonist 'Evan' in the musical 'Dear Evan Hansen'. Sharing the experience of playing the same role in one production, the two actors discussed how they rely on each other within their double-casting relationship to complete their performances.

They also showed differences in how they interpret their characters. Lim Gyu-hyung named Kim Jun-su as his role model, while Na Hyun-woo mentioned Jo Jung-suk as his professional goal.

From a love for martial arts to throat care routines

Their everyday sides, different from their appearances on stage, were also revealed. Na Hyun-woo stated that he enjoys martial arts so much that he earned the nickname 'Kangaroo.' He expressed his affection for martial arts, boasting a physical strength powerful enough to be called number one in arm wrestling within the musical industry.

They also shared their self-management methods to maintain performance condition. To ensure live vocals on stage, the two actors revealed unique routines they practice to keep their throat condition at its peak before a performance.
