Jeong So-ri's career is unique. Having majored in Gayageum Byeongchang at Busan Arts High School, she first stood out on traditional music stages, often referred to by the moniker "traditional music girl." In 2016, she left a strong impression appearing on the music variety show 'I Can See Your Voice Season 3' as the "granddaughter of an Intangible Cultural Heritage holder," performing a traditional version of Yoon Bok-hee's 'Yeoreobun.' She went on to participate in the closing performance of the Miryang Arirang Grand Festival in 2018, and in 2024, she proved her traditional music-based vocal skills on MBC's 'King of Mask Singer.'

Transitioning into an actress, she made her debut in the 2018 film 'The Spy Gone North,' playing the role of North Korean State Security Department agent Ri Hong-seol. After establishing her presence as the lead Ji-eun in the short film 'A Man in Lost,' she expanded her range by playing Han Jeong-hee in the 2022 Netflix film 'Carter.' That same year, she gained international recognition through the Apple TV+ drama 'Pachinko,' appearing as Ji-yoon, a role she continued to play in 'Pachinko Season 2.'

Continuing acting career across various platforms

Jeong So-ri continues her acting career by moving across various channels and platforms. She played Kim So-mi in the U+ Mobile TV drama 'Night Has Come,' Seok Jae-yi in the MBC drama 'Flower Blooming at Night,' and appeared in the films 'Confidential Matters' and 'Decision to Leave.'
