KBS1's Golden Oldies (TV program) spotlights 1970s and 1980s group sound hits with Park Chang-geun, Gu Su-kyung and original members.

From Dick Family to Key Boys, Summoning 7080 Group Sound Masterpieces

KBS1's 'Gayo Stage' will showcase the band music that defined the 1970s and 1980s under the theme 'Memories of Group Sound II' on the 13th at 10 PM. This 1956th episode reconstructs the masterpieces of the bands that led the golden age of group sounds through the voices of original members and junior singers.

The stage opens with Kim Hu-rak of Dick Family, who kicks things off by performing 'I Am a Loser' and 'White Clouds, Dark Clouds.' Following him, Kwak Jong-mok, Shim Young-seop, and Park Dae-bong of Geon-a-deul will take the stage to recreate the vibrant sounds of that era with 'Young Smile' and 'I Won't Forget.'

Park Chang-geun's Reinterpretation and Performances by Original Members

The middle section features performances that carry on the emotion of the original tracks. Gu Su-kyung will sing 'Because My Heart is Weak' by Deul-go-yang-i-deul, and Park Hye-shin will perform 'Fifteen Nights.' Yoo Young-chun of Young Sound will curate a lyrical stage with selections like 'Lantern' and 'Moon Halo.'

In particular, singer Park Chang-geun's performance is drawing significant attention. Park Chang-geun will reinterpret Last Chance Kim Tae-hwa's masterpieces, 'Goodbye' and 'I Can't Tell You,' with his own unique color.

Sand Pebbles Collaboration and a Finale by the Full Cast

This special also features collaborative stages among the performers. Park Chang-geun, Park Hye-shin, and Gu Su-kyung will showcase their harmony by singing Sand Pebbles' representative song, 'What Should I Do.'

The show concludes with Yoon Hang-gi and Cha Do-gyun of Key Boys performing 'Memories of the Beach' and 'Dear Boat.' Finally, the entire cast participating in this special will gather to close the stage with a chorus of 'Let's Go to the Beach.'
