The incident began with Park Seo-jin's growing anxiety. Upon visiting the Samcheonpo house, Park Seo-jin pressed the doorbell multiple times and called several times, but receiving no response from his father, he rushed inside. Anxiety surged as he recalled past instances where his father had collapsed while home alone.

Fortunately, his father greeted him safely, but while conversing, Park Seo-jin sensed unusual symptoms. He realized that the frequent communication breakdowns they had experienced in daily life were not mere misunderstandings, but were actually due to his father's declining hearing.

Turn the car around!" Even when family members suggested wearing hearing aids, he remained stubborn, insisting, "I'm still young."

The medical diagnosis at the hospital left the family in shock. The specialist warned that if hearing loss is neglected without proper management, the risk of developing dementia could increase up to five times in the future. For the first time, the father confessed to the ear health issues he had been hiding out of guilt toward his family. He even moved his family to tears by revealing the true reason behind his recent decision to sell the boat he had spent his life with.
