The new cast for the Netflix original variety show 'Single but Want to Date Season 2' (hereafter 'Single but Want to Date 2') has been revealed.

Kang Jisoo, who was part of the final couple (Kim Seung-ri) in the previous season, posted a photo on her SNS on the 7th with the caption, "Omg, I found a total bundle of charm." The person in the photo is game programmer Kim Jae-seo, a participant in this season. Upon seeing Kim Jae-seo, who has a reliable impression with a long beard, Kang Jisoo shared her thoughts, saying, "I should have joined Season 2."

Since the broadcast, Kang Jisoo has been active as an influencer and ballet instructor.

Episodes 1 to 3 of 'Single but Want to Date 2,' released on the 7th, depicted the story of Choi Yeon-seo, who has been single for 27 years. Choi Yeon-seo confessed to her past of being immersed in 2D characters while attending arts middle and high schools. She explained, "I am an otaku, and since I attended arts middle and high school, I didn't have many opportunities to meet men other than 2D characters."

Her favorite character is Hijikata Toshiro from 'Gintama.' Choi Yeon-seo revealed her ideal type, stating, "I like characters with dark hair, cat-like eyes, and a serious yet hearty personality." She added that she began to take interest in real men because of his resemblance to Kyoya from 'Ouran High School Host Club.'

HANMAC launches collaboration campaign with 'Single but Want to Date 2'

OB Brewery's premium lager brand HANMAC is conducting a collaboration campaign with 'Single but Want to Date 2.' In connection with the newly released 'HANMAC Draught Creamy' cans, HANMAC will sequentially release four videos capturing the emotional arcs of the cast members.

In line with the program's broadcast period, HANMAC will operate YouTube live broadcasts featuring MC Lee Eun-ji and social media content for each episode. In August, an offline consumer event featuring the cast of 'Single but Want to Date 2' is also scheduled to take place.
