U Sung-eun’s Love Again stuns Im Chang-jung into a duet offer

Singer U Sung-eun received an impromptu duet proposal from the original singer, Im Chang-jung.

Appearing as the 'catfish singer' on the TV CHOSUN show 'Gold-Blooming Friday' aired on the 17th, U Sung-eun performed Im Chang-jung's signature song 'Love Again.' U Sung-eun led the atmosphere of the venue with her soulful tone and vocal prowess, recording a final score of 97.

Host Kim Sung-joo highly praised U Sung-eun's talent, stating, "She is a name that has always been mentioned as someone who could defeat the king in masked singing programs."

Im Chang-jung's Bold Proposal: "I've written a song, want to do it together?"

Watching the stage, Im Chang-jung offered praise, saying, "I knew you sang well, but I think today was your best performance yet." He then made an impromptu duet proposal on the spot, asking, "I have a song I've written; would you like to do it with me?"

U Sung-eun expressed her overwhelming emotions, saying, "It is such a great honor. I wanted to be the catfish singer from the moment I heard you were appearing."

In response, Im Chang-jung joked, "I'll send it to you right after recording ends. Let's record it this evening and release it tomorrow morning," bringing laughter to the set.

U Sung-eun has recently been expanding her activities as a singer-songwriter. Her third mini-album, 'The Meteor Is Glowing,' released on the 18th of last month, is the result of her participating in the entire album production and songwriting process for the first time since her debut. U Sung-eun is credited with writing the lyrics for all tracks on this album.
