Branding Sports Entertainment: The Trend of Season-Based Production

Recently, the broadcasting industry has shown a clear trend of producing sports entertainment as core IP (Intellectual Property) in seasonal formats. SBS's 'Kick a Goal' has established itself as a representative brand by airing for six years, and MBC's 'Kim Yeon-koung the Rookie Manager' is also preparing for Season 2 production.

tvN's 'Iron Girls' is preparing to broadcast Season 3 in the second half of the year, and recently, SBS's 'Hot Basketball Team' returned for Season 2, showing active seasonal production in sports entertainment. Sports variety shows are gaining continuous momentum by building strong fandoms based on the growth of the participants and their teamwork.
