“If he had just been honest” No. 1 feels ‘fury’ over 26th Yeong-cheol’s choice

In the July 16 broadcast of SBS Plus and ENA’s 'I Am SOLO, Love Continues' (hereafter 'I Am SOLO, Love Continues'), the Solo Pension participants proceeded with their third-day date selections.

I Am Solo: Love Forever's Young-cheol Sparks Conflict with Woman No. 1 After Breaking Promise

The biggest wave of controversy was caused by 26th Yeong-cheol’s choice. Although Yeong-cheol had promised the previous day to choose No. 1, he ultimately selected No. 4 during the actual selection. Yeong-cheol explained his reasoning, stating, “I felt more drawn to her because I could see her expressing her feelings,” adding, “It was a shame that No. 1 didn't seem to be proactive.”

In an interview with the production team, No. 1 expressed her disappointment, saying, “Since we had made a promise, I had some expectations.” In particular, No. 1 expressed her anger regarding Yeong-cheol breaking the promise, noting, “If he had called me instead of spending that time talking to No. 4 and just told me honestly, ‘Actually, my feelings for No. 4 are stronger,’ I would have accepted it.” MC Jung Hye Sung and Park Gyeong Ree also empathized with No. 1's position.

8th Yeong-su’s ‘strategic choice’ and the mismatched reaction from No. 3

8th Yeong-su agonized between No. 2 and No. 3 before ultimately choosing No. 2. Explaining his calculated decision, Yeong-su said, “It might seem selfish, but I judged that if I chose No. 3 first, No. 2 would just leave, so I went with No. 2 first.”

Watching this, MC Defconn pointed out, “It feels like you're holding No. 3 hostage.” No. 3, who had been waiting for Yeong-su’s choice, expressed her displeasure, saying, “I thought if he had just made a choice even if he was conflicted, it would be over.”

1st and 7th Yeong-ho’s battle for No. 5 and 17th Yeong-su’s choice

The competition for No. 5 was also intense. 7th Yeong-ho was captivated by No. 5, a former track and field athlete, and built rapport by doing gymnastics with her since the morning. On the other hand, 1st Yeong-ho suggested a walk to No. 5 but was rejected with the response, “I want to rest.”

Meanwhile, 17th Yeong-su deliberated between No. 4 and No. 5 before ultimately choosing No. 4. The third day of the Solo Pension schedule concluded amidst the complex relationships involving 1st Yeong-ho, 7th Yeong-ho, 17th Yeong-su, and 26th Yeong-cheol.
