Actor Shim Hyung-tak conducted a surprise hidden camera experiment on his son, Haru.

In the 629th episode of KBS 2TV's 'The Return of Superman,' airing July 15 at 8:30 PM, Haru's reactions to his father's changing emotions are captured. Shim Hyung-tak acted out a scene to see how his son Haru would react when his father sheds tears.
As Shim Hyung-tak began his performance of sobbing while holding Haru in his arms, Haru looked up at his father with teary eyes. Haru then began to tightly wrap his small hands around his father's finger and pat it. He was mimicking the exact way his father usually comforts him.
Haru eventually bursts into tears at the "Dad is hurt" acting
The roleplay continued. When Shim Hyung-tak performed a scene where he collapsed to the floor while carrying heavy luggage, Haru's eyes wavered. Seeing his father groaning, "Oh no, I'm hurt," Haru eventually burst into tears out of worry for his father.
Taken aback by the unexpected situation, Shim Hyung-tak hurriedly hugged and comforted Haru to wrap up the scene. Shim expressed his emotions, stating he felt overwhelmed seeing Haru burst into tears from being fooled by his acting, yet still prioritizing his father's well-being.
This 629th episode is directed by PD Kim Yeong-min. This broadcast, capturing the connection between Shim Hyung-tak and Haru, will air on Wednesday, July 15 at 8:30 PM on KBS 2TV.
