Singer Yoo Hwe-seung mentioned his physical condition caused by allergic rhinitis and how he manages it. During a recent live broadcast on his YouTube channel, Yoo Hwe-seung revealed that he lives with one nostril blocked due to his usual rhinitis symptoms.

In the video, Yoo Hwe-seung explained that because he suffers from allergic rhinitis, he breathes with one nostril blocked and the other clear due to pollen or dust. He added that since this condition has persisted since he was young, he is actually accustomed to practicing singing with one nostril blocked. Yoo Hwe-seung mentioned that if his nose suddenly clears, singing actually feels awkward, explaining that the inside of his nose is not completely blocked to the point of affecting resonance.

He also shared that he started nasal irrigation a month ago to manage his rhinitis. Yoo Hwe-seung said he performs nasal irrigation to alleviate rhinitis symptoms during seasonal changes, and on days when his nose is completely clear, he feels a refreshing sensation all the way to his lungs, feeling the happiness of breathing.

Changes in hairstyle and the progress of the new song 'Letter in a Glass Bottle'

Comments regarding his change in style followed. Yoo Hwe-seung stated that while he had maintained a plain and ordinary hairstyle for a long time, he had recently felt a desire to change his style. He wanted to bleach his hair and have a shorter length than before, but he found a compromise and chose his current hairstyle, expressing satisfaction with the style created by his hair designer.

Specific progress on the songs he is working on was also shared. Yoo Hwe-seung revealed that "Film" and "I Knew It Would Turn Out This Way" are already completed. However, in the case of "Letter in a Glass Bottle," he explained that more work is still needed, so the release timing is far off. He added that although about 40 days have passed since the song was completed, he is contemplating how to release it. As he is producing the songs himself, he said he is considering various methods, such as sketch comedy or YouTube video formats.

Leg injury and managing condition during performances

His physical condition regarding recent performance activities was also mentioned. Yoo Hwe-seung revealed that he is continuing to perform every day even though his left leg is in a cast. He said that because he puts more strength into his right side during performances, his right calf gets sore, so he stretches every day. Yoo Hwe-seung also shared a joking concern that he is worried about a difference in thickness between his two legs once he removes the cast from his left leg later.
