RYEOWOOK Makes Comeback After 2 Years and 6 Months with Bleached Visuals for 'Runaway' to Celebrate 10th Solo Anniversary

Super Junior member RYEOWOOK has released his new solo single 'Runaway' to commemorate the 10th anniversary of his solo debut. This marks his first new music in approximately 2 years and 6 months since the December 2023 single 'Majung.'

The core of this release is that it captures the musical colors RYEOWOOK has built up over the past 10 years. The new song was released through various music release sites at 6 PM on the 23rd.

Pop Rock 'Runaway' and 3 Included Tracks

The title track 'Runaway' is a pop-rock genre that captures the seasonal feeling of summer. It contains a message of comfort, suggesting that it is okay to take a moment to catch one's breath amidst a tiring daily life.

To increase the perfection of the song, RYEOWOOK personally deliberated on everything from lyric writing to studying vocal techniques, and even went through a re-recording process. He stated, "Because I wanted to increase the perfection of this music release, I thought a lot about everything from the lyrics to studying the vocal style, and I worked hard on the re-recording."

This single includes a total of 3 songs, including the title track 'Runaway,' 'Defined,' and 'Chamomile.' All songs will be released in physical single format. RYEOWOOK said, "To celebrate my 10th solo debut anniversary, I am happy to be able to present 3 new songs as a physical single. I am confident that the jacket and music video are also of high quality."

Bleached Visuals and Refreshing Music Video

For this comeback, RYEOWOOK showcased a new visual through bleaching his hair. He explained, "I tried bleaching my hair for the first time in a long while to look more refreshing and cool."

The released 'Runaway' music video visualizes the refreshing atmosphere of the song against a background of blue skies and grass fields. This comeback highlights both the significance of the 10th solo anniversary and a summer atmosphere.

Music Show Appearances Starting on the 25th, Tour Opens in Seoul in July

Full-scale promotions will follow. Starting with Mnet 'M Countdown' on the 25th, RYEOWOOK will appear on MBC 'Show! Music Core' on the 27th and SBS 'Inkigayo' on the 28th.

Following this, he will hold his first solo Asia tour '2026 RYEOWOOK'S AGIT CONCERT : DIVE TO BLUE.' The tour will begin in Seoul at the Ticketlink 1975 Theater from July 10 to 12, and will then visit Bangkok, Macau, and Taipei in order.

Recently, RYEOWOOK also posted photos taken with the official fan club E.L.F. via SNS. In the photos, RYEOWOOK posed with fans, leaving the phrase "with E.L.F." in the post to convey his feelings ahead of his solo 10th anniversary tour.
