Far East Asia Tigers' Reinterpretation of 'Hongdae on a Rainy Night'

'Hongdae on a Rainy Night' is a track from No Brain's mini album 'Absolutely Summer,' released back in 2009. The song has long been loved by fans for capturing the scenery, romance, and spirit of resistance found in Hongdae. This remake version maintains the deep emotions of the original while adding a new color by combining it with the explosive energy and sound unique to Far East Asia Tigers.

Far East Asia Tigers, who have built a thick following by singing about school days memories and the wanderings of youth, shared special sentiments regarding this work. Through their agency Rockstar Music & Live, they stated, "We have nurtured our dreams of becoming musicians while watching No Brain seniors since our school days," adding, "It is an honor and an overwhelming feeling to participate in this meaningful 30th anniversary remake project." They further pledged, "We will silently and passionately follow the path of Hongdae punk that our seniors have paved."

A Project Connecting Generations Following Big Naughty and Green Flame Boys

No Brain's 30th anniversary project is drawing attention as a link connecting the past and present of the indie music scene. Previously, Big Naughty and Green Flame Boys participated in the project to broaden its musical spectrum, and with the participation of Far East Asia Tigers, the flow of continuing the vitality of the indie scene has been completed.

Meanwhile, No Brain proved their enduring power this past June by selling out all seats for their solo concert 'Still Noisy Vol.1' held at Hongdae club BENDER. Moving forward, No Brain plans to continue their Hongdae club tour and host a large-scale solo concert at the end of this year to mark the grand finale of this 30th anniversary project.
