A family drama that reconnects broken relationships through the medium of food and daily life, 'Love Is Coming,' is about to be unveiled. Set to premiere on the 25th at 8 PM, the new KBS 2TV weekend drama 'Love Is Coming' is directed by Hong Seok-gu and written by Lee Kyung-hee. Following 'Prescribing Love,' this series aims to capture weekend evening viewers with a 'Family Recipe' concept, gathering the fragments of a fractured family to prepare a warm meal for life.

Character Play Between Elite Doctor Park Yoo-na and Loyal Bae Jung-nam

Actor Park Yoo-na takes on the role of Han Gyu-young, an elite doctor who appears blunt on the outside but carries a heavy sense of responsibility for her family. "It wasn't easy to fully understand Gyu-young, who carries so much pain," Park Yoo-na shared, noting that she went through a process of repeatedly reading the script to embrace the character's wounds and responsibilities.

Bae Jung-nam transforms into Jo Heung-sik, a loyal man who speaks in a thick dialect. Contrary to his blunt exterior, he is a character with a warm side who looks after his people until the very end. "The loyalty of looking after people to the end and that warm side are quite similar to my actual self," Bae Jung-nam mentioned, noting his high synchronicity with the character. He explained that the character's sincerity will be revealed not through grand events, but through everyday moments of eating together and bickering.

Realistic Family Relationships Portrayed with Hani and Kang Ae-sim

The web of relationships between the characters is also solidly constructed. Actor Hani has been cast as Han Gyu-rim, Park Yoo-na's older sister. The two showed natural chemistry like real sisters, sharing jokes on the filming set.

The relationship between Heung-sik, played by Bae Jung-nam, and his mother Park Su-nam is also a major axis of the drama. Kang Ae-sim, playing Park Su-nam, portrays a realistic mother-son relationship alongside Bae Jung-nam. "Responding to her ad-libs, ideas naturally came to mind, and it was a lot of fun to exchange them," Bae Jung-nam said, conveying the vivid atmosphere on set.

"A Story of Family That You Want to Abandon Yet Want to Protect"

While Park Yoo-na and Bae Jung-nam approach family in different ways, they are characters who share the commonality of being unable to turn their backs on family in the end. Park Yoo-na expressed affection for her character while playing Gyu-young, stating that the work resembles our lives through family conflict and understanding.

Bae Jung-nam defined the theme of the work as 'family.' "It contains the story of all our families—those we want to abandon yet ultimately want to protect," he said, expressing his sincere hope that viewers will enjoy it comfortably every weekend.
