Heo Nam-jun Ranks 1st in UPICK 'Sageuk Master Actor' Poll

Television actor Heo Nam-jun has secured first place in the 'Sageuk Master Actor' poll hosted by the global fandom platform UPICK. The poll, which ran from July 2 to July 14, featured actors who have made a significant impact in historical dramas, with competitors including Park Ji Hoon, Choo Young-woo, and Ro Woon.

The result is particularly noteworthy as Heo Nam-jun managed to overtake Byeon Woo-seok, who had previously held the top spot for three consecutive terms. Heo Nam-jun has recently increased his recognition through his performance as Cha Se-gye in the drama My Royal Nemesis.

Hongdae Billboard Reward and August Fan Meeting

As the first-place winner, Heo Nam-jun will be rewarded with an outdoor billboard advertisement on the Scarlet Building in Hongdae, Seoul. The advertisement is set to consist of videos produced directly by his fans.

Heo Nam-jun will meet his fans this coming August at his fan meeting, 'HEO's NEXT?'. Having debuted in the 2019 film The First Shot, Heo Nam-jun has appeared in works such as Sweet Home Season 2, The Impossible Heir, Your Honor, Connection, and One Hundred Memories, and is currently preparing to appear in the tvN drama Whale Star.
