Wanna One to Return to KCON LA 2026 After 9 Years Without Kang Daniel and Lai Kuan-lin

Wanna One, the debut group from the Mnet survival show 'Produce 101' Season 2, will take the stage at 'KCON LA 2026' held in Los Angeles, USA. CJ ENM announced on the 7th that Wanna One will participate as special performers on August 14 local time, the first day of the event. This marks their return after 9 years since KCON in 2017.

Nine members will join this stage, excluding Kang Daniel, who is currently serving in the military, and Lai Kuan-lin, who is active as a film director in China. Park Ji-hoon, Lee Dae-hwi, Kim Jae-hwan, Ong Seong-wu, Park Woo-jin, Yoon Ji-sung, Hwang Min-hyun, Bae Jin-young, and Ha Sung-woon have been named on the list.

Special Performance on the First Day in LA, August 14

Wanna One reunited this past April 28 through the Mnet reality variety show 'Wanna One Go: Back to Base'. The members, who were active from August 2017 to January 2019 before disbanding, have intensified their reunion efforts by coming together during their individual activities.

'KCON LA 2026' will be held for three days from August 14 to 16 local time at the LA Convention Center and Crypto.com Arena. It is a K-culture festival that combines K-pop shows and conventions, covering both K-pop stages and K-lifestyle.

NCT 127, ZEROBASEONE, and TOMORROW X TOGETHER as Headliners

'M COUNTDOWN', the festival's main stage, will fill the nights of LA for three days. NCT 127, ZEROBASEONE, and TOMORROW X TOGETHER will appear as headliners for each day, performing shows of approximately 1 hour each.

A total of 34 teams will participate, including &TEAM, ALLDAY PROJECT, ALPHA DRIVE ONE, Anderson .Paak, cosmosy, Evan, Hype Princess, ILLIT, izna, JO1, Keevitup, Kickflip, MEOVV, MODYSSEY, NEXZ, P1Harmony, RESCENE, Santos Bravos, So!YoON!, TAEYONG, TREASURE, WING, and YEONJUN. Before the main performances, a pre-show featuring next-generation rookies will be held.

ZEROBASEONE to Reveal 'Exotic' for the First Time

A special stage exclusively for KCON has also been prepared. Mnet 'M Countdown' MCs So Jeong-hwan, Park Gun-wook, and Gye-hun, known by the nickname 'Oisobagi', will prepare a special stage. On-site, an interactive show will proceed, featuring cover stages, first-time reveals, and collaboration stages.

ZEROBASEONE will showcase the stage for 'Exotic', a track from their 6th mini album, for the first time. ZEROBASEONE's Kim Tae-rae will cover IU's 'Love wins all' as a solo, and MEOVV will cover BLACKPINK's 'JUMP'. A 'FORMULA' collaboration stage featuring ALPHA DRIVE ONE and beatboxer WING is also prepared.
