TK makes Seoul roar with 'unravel' on his first solo visit in 13 years

First solo Korean visit in 13 years, a stage opened by 'katharsis'

TK, the frontman of the Japanese three-piece rock band Ling tosite sigure, met with fans in Seoul. 'TK from Ling tosite sigure ASIA TOUR 2026 in Seoul,' organized by the live entertainment brand LIVET, took place on the 12th at the YES24 WonderRock Hall in Seoul.

This performance marks TK's first solo concert in Korea since he launched his solo project in 2011, coming 13 years after his solo debut. The show opened with 'katharsis,' the opening theme for the anime 'Tokyo Ghoul:re.' TK led the atmosphere of the venue by simultaneously showcasing his signature sharp, delicate high-pitched vocals and overwhelming guitar performance.

The setlist was filled with songs that span TK's solo career. 'Fantastic Magic,' 'white silence,' and 'Signal' followed, while 'film A moment' provided a variation in sound.

The most intense reactions occurred when the anime theme songs appeared. As 'unravel,' the opening song for the globally popular anime 'Tokyo Ghoul,' resonated through the hall, explosive cheers erupted from the audience. This track, which has surpassed 400 million cumulative streams on Spotify, was recreated through a live performance blending TK's vocals and guitar. The concert concluded with 'first death,' the ending theme for the anime 'Chainsaw Man.'

"I will definitely come back next time"

After finishing the performance, TK shared his sincere feelings with the Korean fans. "I came here for a solo concert this time, but I definitely want to come back again next time," he said. He further expressed his determination to return, stating, "Whether as a solo artist or (with the band), I will show you an even more intense live performance when I return."

TK is the vocalist and guitarist of the band Ling tosite sigure, formed in 2002, and has been conducting independent solo activities under the name 'TK from Ling tosite sigure' since 2011.
