Rosé brings Billboard glow to Megabox COEX for ‘HOPE’ premiere

Rosé Attends 'HOPE' Film Premiere
On the afternoon of the 13th, Rosé attended the VIP premiere of the film 'HOPE' held at Megabox COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Directed by Na Hong-jin, 'HOPE' tells the story of Beom-seok (played by Hwang Jung-min), the head of the Hopo Port branch office in the Demilitarized Zone, who experiences various events after hearing news from village youths that a tiger has appeared. Appearing at the scene that day, Rosé showcased her presence by posing for the cameras.
Rosé also shared glimpses of her daily life through her SNS, posting a selfie taken during a nighttime trip. In the photo, taken from the backseat of a vehicle against the backdrop of the city nightscape with her long blonde hair flowing, she left the caption '@yslbeauty day'.
From 'APT.' to 'rosie': A String of Records
Her musical achievements are being proven by the numbers. The single 'APT.', a collaboration with Bruno Mars, climbed to number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking the highest ranking ever for a K-pop female soloist. The song remained on the chart for 45 weeks and claimed number 1 on the Spotify and Apple Music global charts. It also set records for reaching 100 million and 1 billion streams in the shortest amount of time.
Her first studio album 'rosie', released in 2024, also caused a massive sensation. This album, in which Rosé participated in the writing and composing of all tracks, landed at number 3 on the Billboard 200 and number 4 on the UK Official Albums Chart. She proved her global influence by recording 70 million monthly listeners on Spotify and approximately 958 million monthly listeners on YouTube.
'On The Ground', the title track of her first single album 'R' which marked the start of her solo career in 2021, reached number 70 on the Billboard Hot 100 and claimed number 1 on the Billboard Global 200 and Global charts. At the time, its first-week sales exceeded 448,000 copies, setting a record for a Korean female soloist for the first time in 19 years.
From BLACKPINK Debut to Growth as a Singer-Songwriter
Having debuted with BLACKPINK in 2016 with the digital single 'SQUARE ONE', Rosé has been active as the team's main vocalist and lead dancer alongside JISOO, JENNIE, and Lisa. Currently, she is establishing herself as a singer-songwriter with a unique color, moving between Korea and the United States.
Her recent track 'number one girl', produced by Bruno Mars, entered the Official Singles Chart, while 'toxic till the end' entered the Billboard Hot 100 at number 90 and won a Digital Music Bonsang at the 40th Golden Disc Awards in 2026. 'On My Mind', a collaboration with Alex Warren, also recorded number 60 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 37 on the Official Singles Chart in 2025.
