izna turns sold-out Japan buzz into HANDLE WITH CARE debut
izna will officially debut in Japan on September 2 with first mini album HANDLE WITH CARE, teaming with Sony Music after fan-con success.
izna, the group formed through the Mnet audition program 'I-LAND2', is taking its first major step into the Japanese music market. Their agency announced that izna will officially debut in Japan on September 2 with the release of their first mini album, 'HANDLE WITH CARE'.

Targeting the Japanese market through collaboration with Sony Music
izna is collaborating with Sony Music labels for this Japanese expansion, a move designed to ensure a more systematic entry into the local music market. The members—Mai, Bang Jeemin, Koko, Ryu Sarang, Choi Jungeun, and Jeong Saebi—have already been steadily building a presence in Japan even before their official debut.
Starting with a performance at Japan's largest music festival, 'SUMMER SONIC 2025', last August, the group expanded their reach by being selected as the vocalists for 'Love All', a TV CM song for a famous Japanese beverage brand. Their Japanese-language release, 'BEEP (Japan Edition)', climbed the charts on major Japanese platforms such as iTunes and AWA. Furthermore, their first Japanese fan-concert, 'izna 1st FAN-CON [Not Just Pretty] In Japan', held this January, sold out all seats, proving the strength of their fandom, 'naya'.
"A dream achieved thanks to naya" Sincerity toward fans
Ahead of their official Japanese debut, the members of izna expressed their gratitude to their fans. "We are so grateful to naya for always sending us warm support and love," the members shared. "We are truly happy that we can achieve our dream of debuting in Japan thanks to naya." They added, "We plan to showcase a wonderful album filled with the unique charms of izna, so please look forward to it."
In Korea, izna has continued to grow by expanding their independent narrative through their third mini album, 'SET THE TEMPO'. Since their official debut in 2024, they have made a significant impression with tracks such as 'SIGN', 'IZNA', and 'Mamma Mia'. With this first Japanese mini album, they aim to broaden the scope of their global activities. Specific details regarding the September 2 release of 'HANDLE WITH CARE' will be revealed sequentially in the future.
