Cortis rides REDRED to a 70th Spotify No. 1 and a K-pop record
Cortis' REDRED tops Spotify Daily Top Songs Korea for the 70th time, beating NewJeans' mark as the rookie group plans its first tour.
70th Spotify No. 1, Most No. 1s for a Single by a K-pop Group
The group CORTIS has set a new milestone on the global music platform Spotify. Their agency, Big Hit Music, announced that 'REDRED,' the title track from their 2nd mini album 'GREENGREEN,' reached its 70th No. 1 spot on the Spotify 'Daily Top Songs Korea' chart on the 12th.

This marks the most No. 1 rankings ever achieved by a single song from a K-pop group. This figure surpasses the previous record held by NewJeans' 'OMG' (69 times) after 3 years and 4 months. Since recording its first No. 1 on April 27, 'REDRED' previously secured the record for the most No. 1s by a boy group on June 20, when it reached its 50th milestone. Currently, it continues to hold the longest-running No. 1 record among K-pop groups, maintaining the top spot on the 'Weekly Top Songs Korea' chart for 11 consecutive weeks.
The group is also showing remarkable results in music streaming metrics. CORTIS's monthly listeners on Spotify have reached 12.67 million, placing them in the 'Top 3' among Korean boy groups. This is drawing significant attention as it demonstrates the mainstream popularity achieved by a rookie group with less than a year since their debut. The B-side track 'YOUNGCREATORCREW' has also maintained buzz through challenges on short-form video platforms.
Global Tour Spanning North America and Japan, Starting at Incheon Arena
CORTIS is also ramping up efforts to expand their performance footprint. They will kick off their first solo tour, '2026 CORTIS TOUR,' at the Incheon Inspire Arena on the 18th and 19th. The Incheon shows have already sold out during the pre-sale stage.
This tour will consist of 14 performances across 9 regions worldwide. Starting in Incheon, the group will visit Seoul, Toronto, New York, Kanagawa in Japan, and more. Notably, CORTIS is the only K-pop boy group this year to be named as a solo performer at the major music festival 'Lollapalooza Chicago,' held in the United States from July 31 to August 1 (local time).
The five members—Martin, Juhoon, Geonho, Seonghyeon, and James—are scheduled to perform at the '2026 The Fact Music Awards' held at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium on September 19 following their global tour. Having officially begun activities through the 'GREENGREEN' media showcase held at the YES24 Live Hall in Seoul on April 20, CORTIS continues their momentum by consecutively tackling new music records and a global tour.
