BTS V is recording historic figures in Japan. According to the Japanese idol popularity ranking voting platform 'Nehan,' V achieved his 276th consecutive week at #1 in the voting held from July 6 to July 12.

According to data compiled by the K-pop specialized site 'K-pop Juice,' V amassed a cumulative total of approximately 6.97 million votes, widening the gap with second place by more than 2.47 million votes. On the K-culture platform 'K-board,' V also recorded #1 across all categories, including K-pop idol popularity rankings, Korean drama male actor general elections, and flower boy elections. V's Instagram followers recently surpassed 75 million, and Japan's Fuji TV 'Mezamashi TV' heavily featured V's records and his surging follower count.
The 'V Effect' in Beauty, F&B, and Retail Advertising Markets
V's fandom is manifesting as tangible indicators within the Japanese advertising market. The Japanese beauty brand Yoonse has selected V as an ambassador and is conducting TV commercials and campaigns, while the beauty brand TIRTIR is also utilizing V for pop-up stores and promotions.
Calls from the food, beverage, and retail sectors continue to pour in. Coca-Cola is conducting local marketing using campaign videos featuring V, and HiteJinro has selected V as a global ambassador through its Japanese subsidiary, Jinro Japan. Paradise City has conducted large-scale outdoor advertising featuring V at major hubs including Ginza Station, Omotesando Station, and Osaka in Japan.

Meanwhile, singer Sungri has recently reached a turning point in his career. Having debuted in 2012 with the group K-Boys and later active as part of the project group Rainz following 'Produce 101 Season 2' in 2017, Sungri has made his comeback by being selected as the first winner of 'Legend of the Nameless.'
