BABYMONSTER Opens CHOOM World Tour at Jamsil Indoor Stadium Before 18-City Run

BABYMONSTER, under YG Entertainment, opened the curtain on their second world tour 'CHOOM' at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul. BABYMONSTER held their Seoul performances for three days from the 26th to the 28th, beginning their journey toward 18 cities across 5 continents.

This tour will consist of 27 shows across a total of 5 continents and 18 cities, including Asia, North America, Oceania, Europe, and South America. Having shown strength in digital metrics, such as surpassing 100 million cumulative music video views, BABYMONSTER will meet fans worldwide through this tour.

Second world tour started in Jamsil

On the 28th, the final day of the Seoul performance, the stage focused on the members' live performances. Appearing alongside an opening video, BABYMONSTER opened the show by performing 'WE GO UP' followed by the 'CHOOM' stage. They then consecutively presented songs that capture the group's identity, such as 'BATTER UP' and 'DRIP'.

YG Entertainment applied its tour production know-how to compose a stage that maximizes the members' musical charm. Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Ahyeon, Rora, and Chiquita stood before the audience with commanding live vocals and stage presence that filled the venue.

Solo stages shaped by the members' input

A feature of this tour is that the members actively participated in the production process. The members' opinions were reflected from the selection of the setlist to the arrangement and directing stages of the songs.

In the middle of the performance, solo stages highlighting individual capabilities followed. Rora revealed mature charm by covering Camila Cabello's 'Havana', and Asa showcased powerful rapping with directing reminiscent of the movie 'Kill Bill'.

Seoul finale filled together with fans

Babymonster led the stage while breathing in unison with the fans throughout the performance. Chiquita encouraged the response, saying, "The energy today is so good," and Asa heightened the atmosphere, saying, "Your passion is already incredible. Let's have fun."

Rora drew cheers from fans, saying, "Since today is the last day, we can play with even more energy than the first and second days, right? We trust you and are going for it." Chiquita decorated the finale of the Seoul performance by saying, "Since it's the last day, let's burn it up today."
