Truth of Beauty wins over Hwang Chansung with playful AI ad
Truth of Beauty’s AI video Light Skin, Light Mood won the 2026 K-Forum AI AD Creation Challenge Grand Prize among 159 entries.

At the '2026 K-Forum AI AD Creation Challenge,' where 2PM member Hwang Chansung participated as a judge, the AI advertisement video by Truth of Beauty took home the Grand Prize. Held on the 9th at the Conrad Seoul Grand Ballroom in Yeouido, Seoul, the competition was co-hosted by generative AI content company Akain and the Korea Digital DNA Center (KDDC).

A total of 159 works were submitted for this competition. Judging was conducted based on technicality, popularity, and brand suitability, resulting in the selection of four final winners. The prestigious Grand Prize went to 'Light Skin, Light Mood,' which featured Truth of Beauty's 'Vita Snow Tomato Tone Lightning Spot Cream.' The winning piece utilized animal characters such as hamsters, dogs, and cats to express the product's portability and texture, and received a prize of 10 million won for winning the Grand Prize.
Hwang Chansung: "The unique expressive power of AI is intriguing"
Hwang Chansung, serving as a judge, commented on the Grand Prize winner, stating, "It was the most impressive work among all the brand submissions. It was interesting to see how scenes that are difficult to implement in actual filming were naturally completed through the unique expressive power of AI."
Director Lee Jae-gyu, who served as the head judge, evaluated the work, saying, "It is a high-quality piece that effectively delivers the core message of the product within a cute and bright atmosphere." This event was organized to celebrate the beta service launch of the generative AI video platform 'VIVID' and was carried out as a brand AI advertisement production project utilizing the digital DNA of 2PM's Hwang Chansung and Norazo.
A representative from Truth of Beauty stated, "This award is an achievement that confirms the possibility of effectively communicating brand value and product messages through AI content. We plan to continue communicating with consumers through various contents utilizing AI in the future."
