Actress Jeon In-hwa shared a heartwarming glimpse into the daily life of singer Ji-sang and her pet dogs.

On the 12th, Jeon In-hwa posted several photos on her SNS channel with the caption, "My two beloved sons." The "two sons" mentioned here refer to her biological son, Ji-sang, and her pet dogs.

In the released photos, Ji-sang visited a veterinary clinic dressed comfortably in a black cap. He was seen interacting affectionately with his dogs, sitting in a chair and making eye contact while reaching out his hand. In another photo, Ji-sang enjoyed a night walk with two dogs, styled in a white shirt and black pants.

Singer Ji-sang proves himself with talent rather than parental fame

Ji-sang's real name is Yu Ji-sang. As the son of the married couple consisting of actor Yoo Dong-geun and Jeon In-hwa, he entered the JTBC audition program 'Superband' as a vocal contestant in 2019. At the time, he showed a strong determination to be evaluated solely on his musical talent rather than his parents' fame. He took the stage using the stage name 'Ji-sang' instead of his real name, without disclosing his family connections in advance. Jeon In-hwa also was not aware of her son's participation beforehand and learned about it through subsequent news reports.

Advancing to the fourth round of the finals on the 'Superband' stage, Ji-sang received high praise from Nell's Jong Wan Kim, who served as a producer, stating, "Among the contestants, his growth rate is the fastest." He subsequently continued his activities under an exclusive contract with Mystic Story, headed by Yoon Jong-shin, a contract that concluded in February 2024.

Ji-sang has previously opened up about his feelings regarding his parents' fame on broadcasts. He remarked, "If I do well, it's thanks to my parents, and if I do poorly, I'm compared to them. It's a sad reality," adding, "Now that I am over thirty, I have become more resilient."

The son returns after living independently

Jeon In-hwa has shared updates on her son's life through various broadcasts. Appearing on KBS 2TV's 'Fun-staurant' last year, Jeon In-hwa revealed, "My son went out and lived independently for about four years, but he has moved back home."

Recently, she introduced her children's current status on KBS 1TV's 'Hwang Shin-hye's Let's Live Together.' Jeon In-hwa mentioned that her daughter is active as a cosmetics brand CEO, while her son is active as a singer. Jeon In-hwa and actor Yoo Dong-geun married in 1989 and have one son and one daughter.
