Operating the 'Gaeul's Temperature' Reading Club

Beyond simply sharing daily life, Gaeul consistently uploads reading content that contains her personal values on 'Gaeul's Temperature.' In the channel's core segment, the 'Reading Club,' she directly reviews best-selling novels such as 'Honmono' and 'Scythe,' plainly expressing impressive scenes from the works and the impressions she felt while reading.

When introducing the novel 'Almond,' which she read during her school years, she said, "Life is long, and this moment is not the end. Rather than staying in difficult times, if you work hard while thinking of your future self, things can surely change." This encouragement delivered through books went beyond a book report, serving as comfort to those living through similar times.

Selected as Partner for '2026 Reading Korea'

Gaeul's reading activities are not limited to her personal channel. She was recently selected as a partner for the '2026 Reading Korea' campaign, becoming the first idol to participate in the campaign.

Gaeul has released behind-the-scenes videos of the declaration ceremony and is presenting content close to books, such as visiting second-hand bookstores or making bookmarks. Recently, she spent a relaxing time making drinks and conducting ASMR with NMIXX's Lily, KiiiKiii's Leesol, and IDID's Kim Min-jae and Park Won-bin, following an 'Admin Night' concept popular among the MZ generation. Even at this gathering, they naturally shared stories about reading by recommending books to one another.

In addition to reading, Gaeul shares her lifestyle outside the stage, such as the skincare routine she follows while preparing for a comeback, the beauty items she gifted to member Rei, and the hair products she uses daily. She is building her own character by expanding her scope into group activities, YouTube, and mystery survival programs.

IVE draws over 127,000 fans in Japan

IVE, which includes Gaeul, is currently conducting their second world tour, 'SHOW WHAT I AM.' Starting with the Kyocera Dome performance last April and recently concluding the Tokyo Dome performance, they gathered a total of approximately 127,000 spectators in Japan alone. Local interest was high enough to grace the front pages of major Japanese sports newspapers.

IVE plans to continue the heat of their Japan tour by conducting a North American tour this July and August. New videos are uploaded every Wednesday at 9 PM on Gaeul's YouTube channel 'Gaeul's Temperature.'

Gaeul also attended an event held at LES601 in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, on the 19th to celebrate the launch of a cleansing specialist brand's renewal products. At the event that day, she had a photo time, and THE BOYZ's Younghoon, Unchilde's Yeeun, Haeun, and Lee Bon were also present.
