Actor Choi Soo-jong to Mentor at 15th Jeonnam Acting Camp for High School Students

Started in 2010, this camp is an overnight creative program operated every summer vacation. It was designed to allow teenagers considering careers in cultural content fields to directly experience the processes of acting and video production and confirm their aptitudes and potential.

Participation of Mentors: Choi Soo-jong, Directors, and Producers

In this year's camp, Choi Soo-jong, along with directors and producers active in the field, will participate as mentors. Under the guidance of the expert mentor group, participants will experience the entire process of content production and learn the collaboration process through team-based creative activities and communal living.

The education focuses more on field experience than simple theoretical lectures. Mentors plan to guide participants closely so they can follow practical processes and create results.

Operation of 4 Classes: Acting, Theater, Musical, and Video Production

The curriculum is divided into four fields—Acting, Theater, Musical, and Video Production—reflecting the aptitudes and interests of the participants. Participants will receive professional education in each field and experience the process of actual content production through team-based creative activities.

Application until July 7, Successful Applicants Announced July 14

The recruitment target is 50 high school students. Applications can be submitted online through the QR code on the official poster until July 7, and detailed information can be found on the South Jeolla Film Commission website. The final successful applicants will be announced on July 14.

To reduce the economic burden on teenagers, the participation fee is fully supported for free. Lim Cheol-soon, head of the South Jeolla Province Cultural Industry Division, stated, "This will be a great opportunity for teenagers dreaming of becoming entertainers to explore their aptitudes and career paths through various experiences."
