Directed by Hur Jin-ho, this work is a mystery thriller that uncovers the suspicions and the mastermind behind the assassination attempt that occurred during the Liberation Day ceremony.

Yoo Hae-jin, Park Hae-il, and Lee Min-ho Featured in Three Character Posters for 'Assassins'

The released posters capture three individuals pursuing the truth of the incident in different ways. Yoo Hae Jin leads the drama from the front lines of the investigation, playing 'Cheol-gu,' a detective who confronts the crime scene. Park Hae-il portrays 'Jae-hwan,' a social affairs editor at a newspaper who maintains his convictions despite intense pressure, while Lee Min-ho plays 'Young-il,' a rookie reporter who witnesses the scene and urgently reports the situation.

Invited to Toronto International Film Festival with a confirmed Chuseok release

'The Assassin(s)' has gained critical recognition after being officially invited to the Gala Presentation section of the 51st Toronto International Film Festival. The film is drawing attention as a new genre-driven challenge for director Hur Jin-ho, who directed 'Christmas in August,' 'One Fine Spring Day,' and 'The Last Princess.'

Produced by Hive Media Corp, the film has confirmed its theatrical release for this Chuseok holiday, featuring the acting ensemble of Yoo Hae Jin, Park Hae-il, and Lee Min-ho.
